Natalie Pope, Sommelier and Wine Director
Natalie began her career in hospitality working as a bartender and server at some of Toronto’s most well-known establishments where she gained a passion and love for food and wine. As she worked her way up to fine dining, Natalie had the privilege to be a part of several comprehensive wine programs where staff education was valued and encouraged. Natalie’s passion remained in hospitality and flourished in the wine world as she began her journey to sommelier certification with the Court of Master Sommeliers. Since her certification, Natalie has worked as a sommelier at several top restaurants including The Chase, The Platinum Club and at the Wine Academy. She has also worked with iYellow Wine Club aiding in events, tastings and teaching classes. Natalie could not be more excited to be curating the wine program at BlueBlood Steakhouse, within the historic Castle of Casa Loma in the orignal 100 plus year old cellar of Sir Henry Pellatt. Natalie aims to build a wine cellar that is worthy of the venue and will quench and thrill wine connoisseurs, lovers and the like.
